    Is SchoolAuction.net just for schools?

    No! SchoolAuction.net is our most familiar brand but our software is used by a wide-range of non-profit organizations - and is also available as TofinoAuctions.com. You can specify which brand you prefer when setting up your subscription.

    Why does the $79 plan offer more features than the $1000 plan?

    Because we know that no one wants to pay for stuff they don't need. Some of our most valued customers are able to reach their fundraising goals during a single "Big Night" annual event. These are typically established traditional auctions which reliably bring in over $50k. Our $1000 plan was designed for groups like these - that need only our most traditional tools and have enough confidence in their fundraising forecast to know they'll save money with the fixed price plan.

    On the other hand, if your group is new to fundraising - or has modest goals - the Acorn plan is an affordable way to access full-service software. So why does the $79 plan offer more features? Because having a bigger toolbox will help your organization reach your goal more easily - and when you succeed, we succeed.

    What happens to our event site and data when we're done?

    Your event site(s) are preserved in your account - for access as long as you have an active subscription. Data, reports, and records can also be downloaded to .csv files.

    We recommend (and our plans support) separate event sites for each fundraiser that requires registration (such as an auction, golf tournament, talent contest, conference etc). Separate event sites allow you to create event-specific teams, themes, registration options, custom fields, settings AND work simultaneously on multiple events.

    Separate event sites also create institutional memory - an invaluable reference for next year's fundraising team - who can pick and choose which data and settings to migrate (copy) to a new event site.
