Update Coming
In the next couple of weeks, we will begin updating all SchoolAuction.net event sites that have been established for future events. This update (two years in the making), brings a new, responsive design based on a standard webapp framework called Bootstrap. This means that the new design will scale very well for phones and tablets, and the colors, fonts, etc. will also be much easier to customize. This release also brings the mobile-optimized Self Check-Out feature - which is incredibly cool and works really really well.
We’ve had beta testers using this version of the software for about 6 weeks, and their reaction has been incredibly positive. So we think you will like it too, and we are incredibly excited to show it to you.
Two things to note:
- The update WILL BREAK any existing site customizations - including banners, custom CSS. So don’t invest too much time into that now.
- If your upcoming event is scheduled to happen before September 1, 2014 we will allow you to opt out of this update. Otherwise, it is mandatory.
